Two vehicles stolen from Belleville driveway

The Belleville Police Service reports that on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at about 7:15 a.m., a homeowner in the city’s east end discovered that both of his motor vehicles, parked in the driveway, had been stolen overnight.

The police were alerted and determined that between 1 and 5 a.m., unidentified individuals entered the victim’s residence and acquired keys to the vehicles.

Police say that a Trek bike and assorted winter clothing were stolen in addition to both vehicles.

Later in the day, Belleville police received information that one of the vehicles had been located in Durham Region.

The investigation is ongoing, with the outstanding vehicle identified as a silver 2011 Honda CRV, featuring a dent above the rear passenger window.
