Mayor Steve Ferguson is once again extending a festive invitation to the talented young artists of Prince Edward County.

The tradition of featuring a local youth’s artwork on his holiday card continues, with children aged 14 and under encouraged to submit their creative pieces for consideration.

This heartwarming initiative provides a platform for budding artists to showcase their holiday-themed artwork, with the selected winner earning not only recognition but also a $100 gift card. The generous donation by the Picton Business Improvement Area (BIA) ensures that the young artist can make use of their prize at any business on Main Street in Picton.

The winning artist will have their name proudly printed on the back of Mayor Ferguson’s holiday card. To participate, artists can submit a digital file of their festive creation to Joy McLeod, executive assistant to Mayor Ferguson, via email at jmcleod@pecounty.on.ca.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 1, providing ample time for young creatives to share their holiday spirit through art.
