Stephanie Kell, a 32-year-old resident of Tweed, is celebrating a significant windfall after clinching a $1 million prize in the recent draw for INSTANT ULTIMATE held on Jan. 4.

Despite being an infrequent lottery player, Kell’s decision to try her luck with the ULTIMATE ticket during the holiday season turned out to be a game-changer.

“I’m not a regular lottery player. I normally reach for the ULTIMATE ticket during the holiday season. I was cleaning my kitchen when I remembered to check my tickets on the OLG app. I completely froze when I saw the amount,” Stephanie shared during her visit to the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings.

“I ran out to the garage to tell my husband. He couldn’t believe it. We were both so shocked and in disbelief!”

Stephanie intends to pay some bills and make some investments with her winnings.

The winning ticket was procured at Petro Canada on Highway 62 in Belleville.

INSTANT ULTIMATE, offered at a $100 play cost, featured 40 $1 million top prizes in the draw conducted on Jan. 4. The odds of winning any prize in this game were calculated at 1 in 3.55.
