Paul Fitchett from Frankford is reveling in his latest stroke of luck, having won a $100,000 prize from the scratch ticket Instant Plinko.

Fitchett, who is self-employed, appears to have a knack for playing the lottery. He previously scored $100,000 on Mega Dice back in September 2023.

“I don’t typically play Instant games, but I won a few smaller prizes so I thought I would try Instant Plinko,” he remarked while collecting his windfall at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

Recalling the moment of triumph, Paul shared, “My husband was in the room with me when it happened and he couldn’t believe it. It’s quite a surprise!”

He explained, “I was playing my ticket while watching TV and when I saw I won, I couldn’t believe it. I never imagined that six months after my first big win, I’d win again!”

Paul intends to invest some of his winnings, and take a trip to western Canada.

“I’ve never been there and there is so much to explore,” he said.

The $5 Instant Plinko merges popular scratch play with prizes unveiled in-store by an animated chip drop on the lottery terminal screen and potentially, the opportunity to drop a chip on a real Plinko Board at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

The winning ticket was purchased at Oasis Grocery & Gas Bar on Riverside Parkway in Frankford.
