Belleville man wanted on outstanding violent offence warrants arrested

A Belleville man wanted on various violent offence charges has been arrested.

Adam Davis, 40 years old, was arrested by members of the Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Team on Tuesday, Jul. 9 at 3:11 p.m.

Davis was apprehended on multiple outstanding warrants issued by the Belleville Police Service, including charges of sexual assault, uttering threats, intimidation, failure to appear in court, and a surety revoke warrant.

Davis has been transferred to the custody of the Belleville Police Service, and he is currently held pending a bail hearing scheduled for July 10.
