2 women arrested on drug charges in Belleville

Belleville Police arrested two women, one from Belleville, one from Kingston, on drug charges on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

Two people were arrested and held for a bail hearing earlier this week following a traffic stop by officers working on the joint-forces project dubbed ‘Project Renewal’ earlier this week. 

Shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of College Street and Cannifton Road which led to the arrest of two females and the seizure of narcotics. 

Items seized:

  • 20.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
  • 50.5 grams of Cocaine
  • 9 Hydromorphone pills
  • 8 Oxycodone pills
  • $381.85 in Canadian currency

Jen Millar, 40, of Belleville was charged with: 

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone S.5(2) CDSA
  • Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Kallie Leeder, 32, of Kingston, was charged with:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone S.5(2) CDSA
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone S.5(2) CDSA
  • Breach of Undertaking S.145(3) CC (for having drugs)
  • Obstruct S. 129(a) CC
  • Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 354(1)(a) CC

Charges have not been proven in court.

Both females appeared at a bail hearing on Wednesday in Belleville.
